We were looking for a large round wood table for our kitchen. When I placed the order, I ordered the wrong size chairs. A customer service rep contacted me by email AND phone to make me aware before placing the order. I thanked her profusely for catching my error and fixing it for me. Once we received the items, we couldn't believe how incredibly beautiful this table and counterheight chairs were! The color so closely matches our cabinets. We have gotten so many compliments on it each time someone comes over. At first we thought the table was smaller than specified, and we couldn't see a split for the leafs; until we realized the leafs go on the outside ring of the table. Just gorgeous! It comfortably fits 8, and we add some additional chairs when we have a party, and there's still enough room for them. We LOVE our table. It did take a little longer than expected to get, but it was well worth it! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Thank you ATG!

This table was shipped in one large flat box. There were no instructions included though it's pretty easy to figure out how it goes together. I assembled this table in about 30 minutes. I was surprised that the table has grooves in the surface. Almost looks like they were sanded into the top for appearance. I know that the finish is titled Rustic Tuscany but I expected the surfice to be flat and smooth. It's not a deal killer for me just want others to know about it because it's not on the description anywhere. Also the leafs to extend the size of the table are small (24") semi-circle (8)inserts that go around the outside of the table. Not something you are going to add and remove on a regular basis. This is a study solid table. It is about a shade darker than what you see on the website. Closer to a dark oak as apposed to medium oak.

This table is gorgeous...sturdy, unique, I just love it!
